Peter Hickman, British Superbike Rider

Who is Peter Hickman?

Peter is a British motorcycle racer, who has raced competitively since 2000 and for the 2016 season he signed for the Official Kawasaki Racing Team, JG Speedfit Kawasaki by GBmoto Racing, for the British Superbike Championship and International Road Races in Superbike and Superstock. He has competed in the Northwest 200, Isle of Man TT, Ulster Grand Prix and Macau Grand Prix.  He describes himself as aspiring to be British Champion and a TT legend!

His endless list of achievements include being named Roads Racer of the Year in January 2018, winning the Newcomers Trophy at the TT and holding the record as the fastest ever newcomer at the Isle of Man TT with a fastest average lap speed of 129.104 mph (207.773 km/h), and a race-average speed of 125.38 mph (201.78 km/h), followed by numerous podium appearances in 2017. 

The list of podiums, silverware and achievements have continued to grow for Peter during the 2018 season.  He finished the Isle of Man 2018 with a haul of silverware including a thrilling 1st in the Senior race complete with a record breaking final lap of 135.492mph.  Hicky also triumphed with 1st place in the Superstock race and bagged 2nd place in the Supersport race.  What a week!
